Some really good fights tonight. Canada didn't show well in the prelims. Good to see Patrick Cote back in the UFC again.

man, you ain't kidding. hendricks has a NASTY hook. never seen kampmann drop like that, he can take a lot of abuse.

great main event, GSP had his hands full with condit. came pretty close to getting finished with that high kick. good fight

It's because he's fighting the best the UFC has to offer. He dominated all of that fight except the 40 or so seconds after the high kick. I know what you are saying though the fights almost get to be like a chess match. But Joe Rogan is really turning into a doofus. He kept trying to make it sound like Condit was right in the fight the whole time. I was waiting for him to say "look Carlos is hitting GSPs fists with his head now. He can really work from the bottom"..... Maybe not 50-45 but not much closer.

I hear ya! Just the first 2 rounds it seemed like he was holding back a bit and just beating him up haha was good watching! thought he would try some submissions or something but never attempted any. That's all I'm saying, I realize they are top fighters and it's easy to talk about them watching! Lol just what a seen. Anyone else feel the same way? Or was it the whiskey? Lol

I have no doubt George was a little reluctant compared to other fights. That was a longgg lay off to come right back and fight the top guy. It looked alot like his fight with Jake Shields. He never puts himself out there to get hurt. If he went balls out with his Kung Fu stuff the fight would be more entertaining thats for sure

Hard to submit a guy like condit who is long limbed and a better submission artist than GSP. Also condit has never been submitted so why try and start ecspecially after a 19 month layoff. He had a good gameplan and other than that kick to the head he dominated the whole fight, outstruck and outwrestled him. 3rd round was iffy, ya GSP got rocked but he also controlled 4 minutes of that round, at very least it was a 10-10 round thus making the score a 50-46. GSP never lost a round but he did tie a round. Not bad after ACL reconstructive surgery

Gsp is not going to risk his streak on showing off.. That's why he always goes the distance... Wen is the last time you saw a superman punch or anything like that out of him....
