With the cost alone to keep the trails maintained, groomer upkeep, paying off the new cabin ,where's the cash gonna come from to lob bombs out the door of a whatever a dollar per hour chopper? Cost effective at a ski hill but not for backcountry sledding I'm thinking.:twocents:

We used to sled with Kevin Fleming of Sicamous and he always said stay away from turbo until it slides. That was back when a 85 plus was king? The snowfall in later years has been getting less now we are getting back in the snow cycles so you have to be on the look out.:nono:

Why don't they shoot some of the hills if they are an issue? It must be a cost thing????

money and one other minor problem,,, people its hard to control the whole mountain so to speak so be hard to guarantee a clear bomb path,, would be nice but too much terrain,, sled'rs need to put their thinkers on before they mash the throttle,,, but there is a lot to learn sometimes especialy people who have zero mountain experiance they just dont understand whats out there.

I was with Darrel Baker's group and we were riding below the slide debris Saturday afternoon....looked like it had slid Saturday morning. Was snowing real hard when we left that area at about 4:30 (BC time).

Did you show Darrel the pic. Bigblack took of him on his prototype 8 years ago??
