Looks like Turbo Hill slid again last thursday. It appears to have broke about three quarters of the way up spilling over the hump to the left facing slope almost to the bottom and ran full course down the main chute past the viewing area down into the ravine below it. It didn't look real deep but must of come down in a big hurry to travel that distance. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it was a natural release or caused by a sled ? Hope no one was hurt if that's the case. One year and 4 days later since the big one....

I was with Darrel Baker's group and we were riding below the slide debris Saturday afternoon....looked like it had slid Saturday morning. Was snowing real hard when we left that area at about 4:30 (BC time).

We were there Friday afternoon and it had already come down. There were a few tracks across the bottom of it to access the backside of Turbo. Didn't see any tracks climbing it Friday but somebody climbed next to it and came down the debris field on Saturday. Sometimes I wonder if everyone out there is getting it...

Yuppers. I was there holding back the big dogs. LOL. We had two turbo 1200 Doos and two turbo Nytros in the group. We're booked at the Days Inn again for the 1,2,3 of April....

Any one take pictures?????

They look the same as last year. Exact runout and just as deep!

Everthing is slideable. It is just we have to not through caution into the wind this late in the season.

Two more slides close to Revy on the road heading East which were not normal...

Was back there today, couldn`t see the break, but the weather wasn`t good either. Slide was nothing like the big one last yr.
Did see 2 guys climbing it at the same time though. :rollingpin:

Maybe we should all have to take an IQ test at the trailhead before we go up Kathy. ;)

Thing was we are riding for 2 days with people who work with avalanches from all over the world and they wanted to go back to the incident site. Sure didn`t have to see it happen while we were all sitting near by having lunch.

It came down late yesterday aft. You can see the break just below the rock on the right of the pic.
