Just wondering who everyone is insuring their turbo sleds with. In Saskatchewan the only broker I can find that will insure an aftermarket turbo sled is Oasis ie. got toys insurance. policy cost breakdown below

2016 sled with an aftermarket turbo insured for $22,000
2 million liability
all perils
$1000 deductible
replacement cost ie. they cut you a cheque for $22,000 not the depreciated value.

Cost for insurance is $1,310

to increase coverage to $26,000 increases insurance to $1,512

Are there any other options available in Sask ???

What are other provinces paying???

That is who I had mine insured through as well. Also need a letter from a dealership stating that the turbo was "professionally" installed.

Co-operators with value of sled for 18000 with turbo and I am paying $472.00 a year with full coverage. It renews this week and i will be going over the policy to make sure it is still covered. I have been with them for 20 years maybe that helps. I will happily renew for that price, I think it is only gonna get harder to get coverage in the future.

I was with cooperators last year insured for present value and never told them I was turboed. Checked into it closer this year. They do not insure turbo sleds in Saskatchewan. The only option I could find is the got toys option.

I just had a quote done through co-operators here in Alberta, valued at $25k, $1750 a year. Seems pretty high?! I pay less for my 80k diesel truck. Where else does people go too?

Harvard western insurance in Kronau Saskatchewan got me insurance on my turbo sled for $740 all perils. (306) 781-2263 for the office, if Shaun Folden is around go through him, he's usually around in afternoons, really good guy. He's super busy though.
