Dealer tells me they changed the compound on the turbo belts as compared to the non turbo spare belt i have from my 2019 summit.

They say it will work fine but you should really use the "turbo one"

I bought a spare belt (turbo edition) not really because i worry about blowing a belt its more of a "at least I know I can buy one now kind of thing"

The number printer on it matches my "non turbo" belt though. How would you even know the difference?

He’s not wrong you need a 571 for your turbo. That being said the belt from your 19 will get you off the mountain just fine but I wouldn’t ride hard with it

The 571 is the latest belt, it was released in the 2019 MY, I ran it in my 2019 850.
The compounds are the same as the 531 but there are differences between the two.
Both will work just fine on a NA sled and a turbo.

Still a good belt so not like it was a waste of cash but I wouldn’t call it a turbo belt lol, my buddy Tim ran that belt on is 19 850 as well, only ones he could get life out of

ok thats the issue. i must had bought my spare 2019 belt later hence why i have the 571 belt for that sled.

at the moment it would be good to have the $270 for other things besides a second spare belt but oh well.

yeah thats how much a new belt is. I remember my dad flipping out on me when i cooked one of his belts off the old exciter. I think they were like 50 bucks back then.

Lol awesome, I remember dad getting mad when I shredded a brand new belt on the 96 Xlt that was about $80, I had to work an 8 hour day for him helping crib a basement, $270 makes that seem like peanuts nowadays
