I have a 09 float 153 skid to put in my 08 Crossfire 144. I am also going to do the 09-11 tunnel mod but I don't really like how short the back half of the 153's are. If I was to put the 162 tunnel on it, would the cooler be too far back for the track to kick good amount of snow on it? I thought I read somewhere that the HCR is a 153 with a 162 tunnel?

We have sold quite a few of the Skinz 153" M style tunnel kits to customers with Crossfires. They work really well for this application and will keep your rear cooler in the correct location with the 153 skid. You'll just need to extend your coolant hoses a bit. Add in a LED rear tailight and it really cleans up the back end up of the sled nice.

Does that kit come with the rear gussets and rivets? And do you have any in stock? Oh and what would you suggest for a gas rack?

The kit comes with the Rear Tunnel Section/Tunnel Braces/Rear Bumper/Tail light bracket(Holds OEM Tail light) and a Snow Flap. The rear bumper can act as a tunnel rack as well as there are strapping mounts cut into the bumper. Skinz has a fair number of other options for tunnel racks as well if the rear bumper option does not work for you. I'm not sure on stock of the tunnel kit we'll have to check on that. I do know we have quite a few Airframe running boards for the M series in stock along with a Crossfire seat kit.

Whats a crossfire seat kit? I am just holding off until I get a couple other things done first but it sounds like the skinz tunnel may work. I have looked at a few other kits and I don't like them very much other than buying arcitc cat parts.

Here is a pic of a Crossfire seat kit. It will raise you up about 2" and is about 30" in length. We find the pack handy as it removes from the sled in a few seconds, rather than trying to empty the seat if your loading a sled on a deck or open trailer.

Sorry we went through our warehouse and it looks like we have sold the last of the 153" kits. If your interested we can order one in for you and bring it in as part of our sled show order, drop us a pm if your interested as the last day we can add to that order is Monday.
