Tuners?

I've been doing a bit of looking around and reading on tuners for my 6.4L PSD. I kind of like the edge juice with attitude since it has the turbo timer built in which is nice since i tow quite often. Just wondering what you guys are running in your diesels (of all brands), and your opinions on them.

Don't get an edge, Ours is useless. I hear the Spartan tuners are wicked though.

I have a edge juice with attitude CTS in my 06 Cummings. its pretty awesome gotta love the touch screen and displays everything you need. i just set the timer by egt's to 290 to shut off at. works great.

if you have a ford you should be looking at getting a spartan, fords are what they specialize in and they have them figured out. I have a Dmax with cts evo,dpf delete

Where can I find a Spartan tuner? The web site says Calgary has a dealer for it, and I live just north of Edmonton.

Screwdriver and wrench for my 1st gen, Edge Juice with attitude for my 24v.

For the ford definitely look into the spartan and SCT is a Ford specialist as well. Their tuner is making as much power as the spartan I believe.

H&S makes a good tuner for the 6.4 as well heard lots of good stuff from some guys running them spartan and sct are also amazing on the fords

I'll have to swing by rip it one day here and see. Im more interested in the spartan tuner now too. Sounds pretty good.

I have ran a spartan for 3years in my 2008. I would not go over 210 heavy tow if you are going to be pulling with it[learned hard way].The 275 and 310 make a litter better fuel milage but will take out head gaskets if not carufull. With 210 made about 23mpg not pulling and about 15 pulling 41 ft toy hauler. Relic

personally run the spartan, but the guy that runs KEM was Spartans super tuner that parted ways from the company last year,
my truck at 8500#'s 275 tune 13.6 @ 99mph chipped since new 72000kms now average 22mpg hand calculated

With the tunes for the Spartan, are they downloadable tunes? Or are they preset values, and you buy the according tuner?

I too run spartan and have had truck chipped for around 150 000 km, truck has 228 000 km on it now. I have a 08 f 250, and also the complete set of tunes as after market mods have been added.

The Tuner has not done any damage to truck if used with respect on a stock truck you will be fine.

repairs I have had: brakes at 180 000 km, ball joints at 221 000km, rad replace at 56 000km, new injectors (3) through out the life.

I ave 23-25 mpg @ 100-105 km/h, pulling the 5th wheel 16 mpg.

Spartan has been good to me and i wish you all the luck too!
