9 billion sounds like a lot but it's not. What would you do with 9billion to help haiti? give it to the Haitian government? I'm sure the president that makes 3700$ a year would take great care of it, or maybe somehow some way give every Haitian 900$ each. But where they going to spend it? The local Walmart that isn't there.

Or maybe hire some local "contractors" stick and mud construction.inc maybe?
