While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old farmer, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually the topic got around to Justin Trudeau and his role as prime minister.
The old farmer said, 'Well, ya know, Trudeau is a 'Post Turtle''.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him, what a 'post turtle' was.
The old farmer said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.
The farmer saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with."

The spending would not bother me had it not been for his campaign speeches where he claimed that those making over 100K had too many perks and he would even things out. If I make too much to apply for government funded child care so should he.
All politicians have expense accounts that pay for all kinds of chit we would not agree with. They SHOULD treat it like they are an employee. My employer pays for my airfare, reasonable hotels, meals, car rental, etc while I'm away on business, I would quickly be out of a job if I tried claiming hair cuts, new clothes, show tickets, limo's, etc.... Somewhere along the way politicians have forgotten that they are employees and their employer is only responsible for "reasonable business expenses"
