2008 F-350 with 6'' lift with 37'' rubber 5'' turbo back straight pipe AFE cold air intake H&S programer set on Hot and a bunch more work done i get 11L per 100km hi-way driving and 14 in town
You know it's funny, we have the metric system, Litres, Kilometers,,, etc. and people still calculate it to mpg.
I had a '10 f350 cabelas with a 5.4l gasser. That thing was almost as bad as the 6.8l
dry on the highway doing 110, I got 16L/100km
With a sled deck, and 2 sleds, I got 25L/100km
If I was heading into a strong wind, I got 35L/100km
City dry I got 21L/100km
What a slug.
I now have an 09 f150 with the 5.4L
It does 12L/100 km dry on the highway doing 110
City I get 18L/100km with tools in the back
When towing my enclosed (approx. 3000#) I get 25L/100km doing 120
Still a pig when towing, it gets the job done well, and it is respectable when not under load.
Same motor, truck performs well with the smaller chassis.
Think a programmer would help with mileage?
I know intake/exhaust doesn't.

LOL, Yeah I know....I was taught metric in school BUT my parents still use MPG to calculate fuel mileage. I am slowly learning the L/100kms as it is far more accurate!! BUT still find myself converting everything anyways when I calculate it out....lol
There is no difference in accretes, they are just using different units.

For those that grew up with the standard system and had to learn the metric system as adults still revert back to some of the old measurments...whats the big deal??
We also have two official languages.....did you learn both??
Ya got 10 fingers and 10 toes, you know the metric system
And BTW we have only one system now, it's called metric.
I remember when it was changed over, I was about 10 years old.
Born in '68.
As for French, I did learn the language in junior high, but hardly remember it because it never gets used around here, kinda like Imperial....... but that's another subject.
