My grizz sometimes has the same problem the gas runs back in the air filter making it damp and it can't get enough "clean" air. I will pull the filter and hold the throttle wide open and roll it over then she will start after it warms up put the filter back in and it will run fine ......but if it cools off overnight or sits a long period it is a b***h to start.

Well the cdi sends the voltage to the coil, so if you have weak battery voltage to cdi, then you will have weak voltage to the coil. It may turn over strong(battery side of ignition), but you could have a corroded terminal to the cdi/coil.

take the cap off the gas tank and see if it starts..

sometimes those bearings in the lid cause a suction lock that will stop the bike from running.

Re:HELP!!!! troubles with starting after a short trailer ride

once had a rhino break down out on the trail.
and a wire leading up to the coil was slightly broken right where it connected when you pushed really hard on it it would start and run until id let off the pressure.

what you need to do is put a tester lite on it and trace it at every connecting point. and you WILL find where the power Ends.
