Re: top posters

Buddy who's land it is has a little tractor and skid steer with forks in it. We cut trail just wide enough to get them in there.
Roof will be stick built once walls are up.

Here are some pics of what I built, maybe give you some idea options.
Mine is on skids in case i ever want to relocate.
Lots of bracing and lag bolts at timber intersections, corner gussets, 1800# (55"X85"X1.5" thick)steel plate ballast and 4' arrow head anchors(did not want it to blow over), angle iron to pick up stair base, removable hand rail section.
Look close at pictures for ideas, oh ya the sky light turret, can be hinged to stand on a ladder to shoot, great view.
Cupboards, counter and tons of pesky flies.
It's 15 years old and still solid.

Nice!! How do you like the ladder? That will be my next step (haha) in the process

This is how I cut my ladder rungs.
They do not hold snow and snow in the treads of your boots does not squeak and crunch when you are trying to get in stand early in the dark for first light.
I can't stand a noisey stand entrance.

Been driving by this for a couple weeks, thought it was a hot tub room or gazebo, well stopped in and this is some guys tree stand. Ready for off grid living, sliding windows all the way around, heat wired for solar panel, little kitchen. He is mounting it 14ft up.

Wow, why would you need to go home? That’s a nice set up.

Gave this one a bit of the camo look.
Every step hunting is a happy one so my daughter did the ladder and the bench on top.

Way better than the treated brown look.
