My sled deck isnt the longest and I recently got a 165 inch long track sled. Ive noticed not a lot of track is on the deck during transport and sometimes the lugs are really bent over as only a few are carrying the weight. Being a 3 inch track I wonder about track life this way. I store the sled jacked up though. Has anyone tried something like this. I was just thinking to build something myself though.

Deck extension?
One guy I ride with has one. Hooks into the bar on the back of the deck. Track sits on it.

yeah that would be good. i have a different kind of deck, would have to get someone smarter than me to build something. Im an office jockey

Take a 2 x 4 and screw a 3" wide piece of ¾ inch plywood to the edge of it in the form of a "t"

Built these for my 8' Bulldog deck. Just slides into the square tubing in the frame of the deck, and is held in with a pin. Skid sits nice and flat, track lugs aren't folded over during transport.
