Unfortunately I don’t believe it - 90 day for govt approval and then court challenges and on and on , death by a thousand delays as quoted by Craig Oliver.

Don't get your hopes up yet....there are 16 new conditions that must be met and then they will need to be approved by groups such as fisheries & oceans....I think it will be a bit of a delay yet before there are solutions to the extra terms and then those groups to stamp their approval....

I bet this will take another year or two before the terms are met.

It’s still years away. Every native and environmental group will coordinate their legal strategies and tie this up in the courts for years. And once that’s all decided they’ll be out on the right-of-way laying down in front of the equipment. Trudeau and his minions came to power with the plan to kill the western Canadian oil industry and they’ve pretty much succeeded. The only way the pipelines will progress is if the conservatives get back in federally, or Alberta secedes from Canada and becomes an independent country.

The best chance for that pipeline is for a new government that repeals all this regulatory crap and builds it no matter who opposes it. Trudeau has rammed alot of chit through without consultation in the last 3 1/2 years. Yet he is dragging his azz on this issue. Does he think we can't figure out what he is up to?

Yup
He will lie to garner a couple votes here a few there and like last time go into full pipeline/tarsand blocking mod immediately after the election.
Really??
What a crock! The start of years of ore BS.
The only solution is new govts.
Trudope and our biotch are both so full of it they both wreak like sour gas......

But this will definitely be part of the lieberal propaganda machine. "Look at us!!! We are getting the pipeline built!!!"

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
I'm not for or against the pipeline. I could care less either way but I have been dealing with Tm for four painful years. The pipeline cuts through my property and dealing with Kinder Morgan, Trans mountain, tests, surveys, doing stream/ecological studies in the hot July and August(all species are hiding from the heat and the streams have little to no flow or water), wasted time and has been a nightmare. They are so disorganized. It's embarassing. A 12 year old kid could do better. It's soooooo bad. There's no way all of the sudden this project can be managed efficiently and organized based on what Ive seen in the last four years. And now it's been bought by a Bureaucracy. This oughta be good.
Cant wait. Oh boy.

I would sure hope that a pipeline that was purchased by the federal government for an obscene 4.5 billion of taxpayers dollars would be approved... Yet I don’t foresee it being built under anything other than a conservative majority government.

I would like to know what “meaningful consultation” actually means. I am thinking, even with new town halls and meetings happening with the minority few native bands that actually oppose the line, that they will say the consulting wasn’t meaningful unless they get every demand and the line is shut down again. Meaningful shouldn’t mean they get their way, just that they get to voice their opinion.

the trudope lieberals are corrupt enough, just start paying off the few groups left that are protesting and get them onto something else, and get the pipeline built!!!

It's a common piss off to landowners is the low ball offers being made.
Just make it rain for all the landowners and opposition and everyone will be happy. So weird they dont get this concept.
