This weekend we are going up to Flatbush to start working on our special project up there and set the trail. We have already checked out some of the trail in November so we have a idea what to do. We could use some help this weekend Saturday for sure to help move some supplies and then you can ride the trail and look for trees down and clean them up. Would like to do a 2 day workbee but we will see. Come on out see some new trail and have a good day helping a bit.

PM me here if you can give us a hand. The quicker we get this done the quicker we can get riding.

Thanks

Great day today. Worked on the project and checked out the trail. All good little more work to do. Had a issue when Peters sled decided to eat his backpack into its tunnel. Had to skid it back on a super slider. Shovel, saw and lots extra all jamed into drivers:nono:.
Thanks for the help people. We had 6 helpers and finished ahead of time

That blows, had to help a buddy remove a large garbage can worth of snow fence from his drivers a while back.

Shovel, shovel, Magellen GPS, all sorts of stuff, there was no getting it out without dropping the suspension. Thankfully Glen had the "tow truck" (Skandic) out there and Don had a crazy carpet......

Was not a track on the east side of the Athabasca, until yesterday.

Geez, the wheel support axle is actually bent. Anyone have any old 'doo suspension parts hanging around before I try to torch & straighten it>

when you say wheel support axle, you mean the one towards the rear of the skid or the one up front with the drivers on it?

Glen, it's the top one, with the bolts above the running boards, skidoo part #503160000 (discontinued). Looks like I can't torch and bend it 'cause it's aluminum, or it sure looks like it is. Checking with a few sled boneyards, if no luck shouldn't be too hard to get one machined.
Had to drop the suspension, now trying to figure out how to get it all back together again...

Peter,

try calling "The Snowmobile Recyclers" or contact "Threadkiller" here on the site. He may have the shaft you require!
