Hey everyone! I have a Kodiak 350 (2007). Over all, it runs fine but if I get up to 25-30kmh, the engine starts screaming and it won't go above that speed! My brother is of the assumption that the tranny won't gear up and may possibly be an issue with the override switch. It is a variable (cone and belt) tranny. Just trying to find out if there is a quick and simple fix! Please help! (I will ask about the problem with my other quad once this one is fixed!) Thanks!

Sounds as thought the clutches need to be cleaned and a new belt installed.

Agree, pull the clutch cover and i bet you'll find some water in it... Clean out the cover, clean the clutches and throw a new belt on it and she should be fine.

Had the same problem with my 400 Kodiak, didn't realize I took a shot of water in the intake and fiddled with it for a while and then the light bulb went off.
