trailer brake controllers

My Tekonsha Voyager proportional brake controller packed it in. Am looking at replacing with either a Tekonsha Primus IQ or a Tekonsha Prodigy. Anyone have one of these units. Looking for some feed back.

I have the prodigy, seems to work good. lots of settings, auto power off, senses faults in connection and displays on screen....I think it was one of the more expensive ones. wanted one to control both 5th wheel and bumper pull for "b-train" towing.

I have a prodigy and love it. The diagnostics is great and i like the auto off feature, 3 years so far so good

I ordered prodigy Brake controller for son's ford, lincoln from etrailer.com still cheaper than buying here.10 day delivery. Can order factory wire extra $ just plug in the ends ,done deal.Works great.

Have the prodigy, love it, wouldn't use anything else unless I could get a P3 for cheap

They have a new Prodigy 2(P2) but there is no specs on it.

I bought mine at Fort Gary Industries in 2007 for $180

Prodigy on the last 3 trucks, never an issue, lots of nice features, like you can turn off your trailer brakes while backing up, and they work on a double or tripple axle trailer, I have both and its hard to find a controller that does 1-3 axles. Also 'load' settings, nice for a light trailer, or for me for equipment trailers. Leave your settings alone, but when trailer is loaded, I go to load setting, one button, then when trailer is empty hit button again...

Highly reccomend it!
