Must be nice not having closwed gates and cattle still in the fields to deal with. Good to see your trailwork is going well.
Do you know if the Golden Triangle crews are out making sure trail will be open. Swan Hills to Fox Creek has had issues in the past
No gates or cattle but as usual, some industry work has caused issues. Logging work has completely blocked our trail near the burner at Chickadee Creek... the pres will be making some calls tomorrow morning. I heard a rumour last week that Swan Hills is already out grooming but have not talked to anyone up there to confirm. I have no news from Fox Creek either Glen. We spoke to a group of riders from your club today just off of the Virignia Hills road - they were headed out for a little early season ride.

The Golden Triangle is a good source of information on the trail. In a lot of cases it is the same people clearing the Golden Triangle trails as the three clubs trails. The Golden Triangle group supplies some funding for parts of the trail.

No trouble. 11 guys out yesterday and 13 today. Only one section of trail left that we will hopefully get wrapped up next Saturday. Will need 8 guys and we should be all done in one day!!!!!!

that's a really good turnout, would be nice if more clubs could get that kind of support for their work bee's!

First for the Trailblazers. 2 sleds had to be airlifted out of the bush on Sunday one broken jackshaft and another broke it's driveshaft within a hundred feet of each other. Remaining sleds couldn't tow them over pipeline hill with the sketchy snow conditions. Thanks to Taiga Helicopters in Whitecourt for coming to the rescue....... And then calling it a donation to the club. Decent fellow that Fred Prufer.
