I have some friends heading to the Crowsnest area and are looking for some trail riding.
They have no interest to ride in the alpine. At the very most they would go to an alpine club cabin.
Mostly just looking for log road trail ride that is groomed.

They are heading out for the coming weekend of March 4th.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Atlas has been a go to for my family. Stop in at the Husky for a "spanky" (trail map). Or a Backroads map book...most of the trails are roads in the book.

I have not ridden it this year but York Creek out of Coleman has been good in the past as well. It accesses a large areas south of the crowsnest. You can also start from Carbondale on the way to Castle.

Tons of ungroomed in the area as well (Alexander, Corbin, ).

^^x2...Atlas and York are both great areas for all skill levels of riders. There are cabins at both that are accessed from the groomed trails. There's a lot of smaller ungroomed trails/pipelines/cut lines that are in great shape as well. Atlas staging area is very easy to access, York can be a little trickier finding your way and the last time I was there they were still logging...might be done now but I'm not sure.
