Needs to be mentioned that his riding pals accoompanying this POS are just a guilty and need to grow a pair. Irks me to think that some people can go anywhere and think they are entitled to use and abuse trails, people and land at no expense or effort to them. I hope, but I doubt it, that this tool doesn't have a daughter or girlfreind! Jag offs like him make for BAD headlines!:nono:

Unreal to have this go on and nobody had the guts to stop it. I don’t agree with violence but certainly anyone with a shred of moral decency would do whatever they could to stop this assault ( verbal )

Hey Ghost, what about asking for lic plate #'s when they are getting their pass. it works for the hotels
Cheers

should work wonders!!! the guy won't pay for a trail pass, but he just might tell you his licence plate #? the ticket takers need to be able to protect themselves, plates are good only after the fact pepper spray is a very effective defensive weapon,

Im pretty sure pepper spray is a fairly illegal defensive weapon...unless you are attacked by an animal......Not many bears out and about at this time of year, spray someone with bear spray for being a prick and theres a good chance you will end up in court.

Just put up a sign that states "your photo is being taken for your safety, not ours" and even have a hunting camera mounted there won't even have to be working, most times
things like this will make people think for a second before they do or say things.
Mounted sign on company property saying "property under video servalence" problems fropped by 95%.

It is an absolute shame no body else stepped in, whats the world coming too.

No kidding! I was thinking more along the lines of four busted teeth and two black eyes.

And a bumper stomp for good measure same as curb only substitute bumper for curb same result wired jaw for 6 weeks to consider the chit that came out of it.

Problem with guys like this is their real tough against women but against a guy they suck and the group of guys he rides with are just as bad. The problem with this group of guys and I mean the whole group is they think it was funny to chew this girl out and no matter what u do to them they think u are wrong for what u do to them but they have the right to do what ever they want. A guy earlier said carma is a bitch, he's right and I would love to see them in jail for a week and see how they would feel when they become someones bitch, but even then u can't change a group of ideats who don't give a ch!t or respect for someone who is just doing their job. So carma is a bitch and I hope u find it soon maybe after that u might grow up.

Thanks for all the great feedback and good ideas everyone. I really like the bear spray idea and I'm going to strongly suggest to our executive that we implement it right away. Goggles and a visor are no defense against bear spray! They will probably have to pitch their helmet because they will never get the spray and the snot cleaned out of their helmet liner.. I have to agree with everyone who is wondering why nobody stepped in to assist the girl. There is no way in Hell I could stand by and watch that, no matter how big the Azzhole was. I like the booth idea as well but, guys will just blow right by without stopping. The girls already have to step out onto the road to get vehicles to stop half the time. If she's inside the booth, they won't even look at her. After this altercation on the weekend, we have instructed our collectors that if the Dicks want to be that way..just let them go. Try to get a plate # and we'll pass it along to the RCMP. Don't put your own safety at risk. Not worth it for $20. We also had an RCMP officer attend our club dinner meeting the other night and talk to us about everything from sled regs and truck and trailer GVW's to what our options are when this happens. I would strongly suggest to other clubs to contact their local RCMP and have them out to a club meeting for a bit of Q & A. He was actually very informative. He mentioned they are going to try to have a member attend at our trail heads a couple of times a month just to show their presence and hopefully deter any more of this Crap. Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your holiday Season riding!

It's a shame society is the way it is. Short tempers are everywhere. Why it's like this? I don't know. Guys are having fist fights at cardlocks. A friend of mine carries bear spray and a small baseball bat beside the drivers seat because of the BS. I hope they do volunteer a member for you on collection days. When Tumbler Ridge use to have their hill climbs back in the day there was a police presence. Checking for insurance, registration, booze, and trail passes.

Communication skills is the best defense against the one per-centers.
IMHO a collector which has the unfortunate experience of having a one-percenter approach and starting the drama its best not to aggravate the prick just suck it & up be nice to get him/her past the gate out of harms way take details spread the word.

The girl would benefit from a 2 way radio or at least an air horn.

Dum question here, but is it required by law to ride in BC without paying for a pass? I mean could you get fined? Not that I would'nt pay for club groomed trails, just wondering what would set off a person on a fee collector.

Most of the pertinent info is under section 24 and down from there. May be subject to a fine of $2000
