What does everyone use for trail cams for watching animals? What are the good and not so good about certain cameras?

hey man i run a few different kinds but my favorite by far are is my Bushnell, color the clearest by far and it has a built screen to view them

New World outfitters are crap have 3 of them with built in screen. I picked up 3 cabelas cameras with built in screens they seem fine around 200.00 each.

any of these game camera's come without the red light, that is on all the time? it is an instant giveaway to the shady characters out there. was looking for something to keep a eye on things.

So I bought a Bushnell Trophy cam HD at a Black Friday sale. It seems to work ok. I have been adjusting the shutter speed and the flash intensity for best settings. One problem I am having is sometimes it does not take color pictures, only black and wight.

The red led is not on when in operational mode.

Another vote for bushnell. Mine has been great so few and ez to use

I have a couple cuddeback attack IR's and they work great and are inexpensive. Will be picking up another one with the black flash soon

I have the Bushnell Trophy cam and set it out for a few days, and now that I have viewed the pictures on it I realised all the pictures (1200 of them) have the same date.

I have not noticed anything in the settings, but what good is it to use as security if Idont know the date?
