Toyo CT VS Duratracs

For a winter only tire this year I went with Toyo OC WLT1 non studded

Sure wish they made the CT's in a 38" really don't want to go down to a 35" but thinking I will try this tire out next as well

Any recent feed back from anybody running the CT's ? I currently am running Duratracs ( 285/60R20 ) on a SRW 3500. Pretty happy with them, except I find them quite loud. Looking for reviews on non studded as I run them year all year.

I don't pull trailers much in the winter, but lots in the summer months

I ran studded CT's last winter and was happy with them. They are noicey on the pavement and throw lots of rocks on the gravel, but wore as good as anything I have had. The duratracts that I ran previous worked well when they were new, but wore quickly and lost significant performance with wear.

Love my duratracs I'm on a second set I love them, I run a ton a dirt gravel roads and from hunting to fishing pulling heavy loads and they're awesome, winter I have no complaints

Have put a ton of miles on both tires, long story short is i had duratracs, tried the CT's on most of my fleet and my personal 6.7 cummins (35x12.50 17's) and am now back to all Duratracs. The CT's aren't an open enough tread pattern to handle the torque of a diesel truck in and he mud and they lack in winter traction. I literally got stuck in Allen creek parking lot, lower level, after 4" of snow, and the CT's were studded, I wasn't impressed, with duratracs not even studded on the same truck in worse conditions I've never had an issue. As for mileage, CT's will get you into that 80k range doing mixed driving with lots of lease roads while I've never got more than 60-70k out of a set of duratracs but I'll gladly sacrifice the mileage for the traction.

Anyone use the Cooper ST Maxx on a one ton?

Iv been running a set last 3 years on my 2500 duramax. Over 60k on them and probably sitting around 40% tread left. No cupping or any kind of funny wear. I would buy them again. Winter traction is alright non-studded, but I'll be running dedicated winters this year
