My neighbour has a Raptor very nice unit. The only thing that sucks about them are the stickers on the outside. I don’t think I have seen one that isn’t all cracked up

we have a 2016 grand design momenteum m348 and has a 110 gallon tank! I have trouble water lasting more than 5 days but I have a small family of six that usually take showers daily, but one thing I did was buy a little sump pump from lowes or home depot because were always parked buy a stream or large body of water ! so i just pump it out of the river or lake straight into holding tank, then i never have to worry about running out of water!

You can collect a sh!t ton of water off the awning too if it rains, at this point you cooler is probably out of ice anyway so it makes a great water catcher! Be sure to filter it and use 50ml of bleach every fill

Typical rv RV they all seem to have ****ty decals have yet to have seen something that’s not cracked or peeeling after 3-4 years tops

I had a boogie box toy hauler made by Rvision. It was a 2009 sold it last year and decals looked new. But when I bought it I paid extra for exterior protection. So I am guessing it must have worked?

I find it all depends on if your trailer is stored indoors or left outside all year! my 2016 momentum is still looking new but its stored in heated shop ! Sun and water will take a serious toll on the exterior!

Well. Bit the bullet today. Bought the raptor. Was basically new condition compared to other wich was in great shape just could tell it was used this was super clean.

Thanks. Now my question is who uses what rock tamer or the dirt skirt (the broom looking ones ). My fear of rock tamer is yes they protect the trailer but wreak havoc on your tailgate I’ve seen the broom
style ones seem to be ok but slight rash looks like it still gets through to front of trailer. We dont travel fast on gravel anyway but rocks get lotsa velocity in no time

The rock tamers look kool!

Talking to few guys. They are about that they look cool function so so but not as well as a product called towtector or industrial brush they seem to work better my brother in-law swears by his he sold his tamers as he had to get his tailgate re painted since he went to brush style no rock chips on new trailer or truck tailgate

I got big mud flaps on truck and home made rock tamers but it doesn't seem to do so well, rocks everywhere, I bet the brushes do work better, I might try to incorporate them around my mud flaps.

I run rock tamers on my duellys, but I filled in the center part with two more flaps. On my third set of tamers and 5th truck, never had the brushes but I like the tamers.

I run the towtector and its been good as long as you have it 2 inches above the ground, but there is no system that totally protects the front of your trailer, I have at least 9 miles of gravel to get to the highway and have had several trailers and several rock guards and so far the towtector is been the best
