We have narrowed our search down to two toy haulers.
Dutchmen voltage 3950

pros

massive water capacity 162 gallons
dual door fridge
nice condition well kept unit

cons
queen bed in master (only I have issue with this. Lol wife is ok with it )

Raptor velocity 365

pros

6 point leveling system
king bed in master
nice condition as well never hauled a toy was on a lake lot for summer and kept indoors for winter

cons
guy not negotiable on $$ (I’m sure if I had $$ in hand he’d move )
110 gal of water ( more concern to wife than me )

extremely comprable units. Looking for feed back from
others on unit experience on both. These are both used units

We had a Raptor a few years ago. Great quality and we had no issue with it.

I second the raptor..... but as I understand the older ones pre 2011 were better....

Are they both tri axle ? Garage same size? I would go with the highest gvw rating i find mine is over weight all the time.

What is the concern with the water tank? Just the 2 of you or do you have kids? The gf and I can make 100g last 6 days taking showers every second day until the hot water runs out and her washing dishes every night and rinsing them.

The toy haulers we have had over the years had 90 to 120 gallon US water tanks.

Current one 110 gallon US

Lasted 3 weeks in the bush conserving water usage. You should be fine.

Other option is a 60 gallon water tank in the box of truck for extra water. I have used that also.

We have the voltage 38. Has same water cap as the the 3950. We have dry camped 2 weeks at a time often over the years. Usually 2 weeks at a time. Generally every 2nd day bathing. Some times more depending on where the riding was done. Have always still had enough water to wash machine before loading out. Unit came with a 1.5 g/min kratcher pressure washer. We find it nice to be able to clean up before leaving. Not much for clean up when home. Only extra thing we have to take is fuel. Depending on how much riding to be done. How much you use the washer/dryer combo can really make a difference on the length of time having water though.

we have a 2016 grand design momenteum m348 and has a 110 gallon tank! I have trouble water lasting more than 5 days but I have a small family of six that usually take showers daily, but one thing I did was buy a little sump pump from lowes or home depot because were always parked buy a stream or large body of water ! so i just pump it out of the river or lake straight into holding tank, then i never have to worry about running out of water!

we have a 2016 grand design momenteum m348 and has a 110 gallon tank! I have trouble water lasting more than 5 days but I have a small family of six that usually take showers daily, but one thing I did was buy a little sump pump from lowes or home depot because were always parked buy a stream or large body of water ! so i just pump it out of the river or lake straight into holding tank, then i never have to worry about running out of water!

We have friends that do that also. You can add a little chlorine to the thank also. Endless water supply.

If parked by a creek. A swim and wash works great also.

garage size identical. Both trucks axle I think there 400lbs gvw difference

You guys have water conscious wives. Even without having real showers I can’t seem to make more than 4 days off 90gal. I can do like 10 by myself, but wife and kids nope.

We have 55 gallon tank lasts us 5 days and I usually pack 10 extra just in case, but yeah you gotta just bird bath it to make it last, try to camp near clean creek, make yur ole lady poo in the bush, just kidding.
