Just returned from a SxS trip to Salmon, Idaho. 2018 Ram 3500 with Aisin averaged 26.7L/100 pulling a 43ft toyhauler just wondering if this is about right, seems high. Truck has 23k+ travelling at speed limits (truck limits in US).

My Dodge was 25.5 L/100km towing Rocky to Leduc and back. Towing my toyhauler.

I would say about right for mileage

Seems pretty close to what I get with my ‘16 Duramax towing as well, anywhere from 23-27 depending on conditions. Usually average right in the middle.

Well that was horrible. Strong head wind, on the whole trip, worst fuel mileage I ever saw, got 27.8.

My 99 24v, no tuner, 275rv injectors, 27psi boost hauling my Camper(arctic fox990) and boat(20' jet boat), GCVW is 18,600 lbs when heading out fully loaded. It burns 20-22l/100kms depending on wind direction. Can't beat those old cummins.

That’s nothing to complain about!

I had the RV275's when I had my 99 also. Paired nice with a drag comp, that truck pulled well. Got about the same MPG you get.

Singe or dual rear wheel? Gear ratio? Truck stock? Weight of loaded trailer?

Doesn't seem to terrible for a trailer of that size. I have a 40' toy hauler and when its loaded (16,000-17,000lbs I would guess) with toys I get 23ish L/100KM on average when travelling from Edmonton to Valemount. Truck is on 40s with 4.56 gears and fully deleted.

That’s not terrible, actually decent. my trailer is 9500 roughly when full loaded, and I averaged 23 last weekend pulling to kananaskis. 6.7 Cummins 3.42 gears. I did tow at 118k/hr pretty well the whole way tho.

paid attention this weekend and the gauge said 25-26L/100 with the camper @ 120km/h... '03 7.3 and a Westland 90W which weighs 2000lbs. I will be towing the boat behind it in 2 weekends and see how bad that is... Fack me, maybe I need a few parts to get better mileage? shes bone stock

Coming home, in the wind yet again, I averaged 25.8L/100. Cannot seem to catch a break in the wind. The wind was gusting to 45km at times.

Talking to my neighbor that has a new ford, towing his 19000lb toy hauler he gets 30L/100. I thought that was pretty decent.

I have a 2015 Ram 3500 SRW thats deleted and running a 45hp tow tune and transmission tuning, I also run a fuel additive. I was averaging 19L/100 towing my trailer at 118 km/hr. The trailer is just over 11k loaded.

Stock 2017 6.7L F350 (40,000km) Camper is probly 3000ish pounds when we load up. She's a real big wind plow. Plus I haul a utility trailer with a zodiac w/ motor behind. Average is 24-25L/100km. Love the truck, curious to see how it compares with 2 sleds on deck to the deleted 2008 6.4L I had.

Is that a 9'6" camper on a short bed? I wanted to know how that works if I replace my truck
