Ya i had the same problem in sylvan lake pulling my 8 year old nephew. The worst thing was trying to tell him why we can't do it any more with out him hating cops. You would think there would be a meth dealer they could go and harass.

We all have to start complaining to our MLA, not just ourselves. I'm going to complain to mine about sledders being hassled all the time. I seem to remember that Ed Stelmach was going to go after the drug dealers, gangs, etc. All I see are tickets being handed out for speeding on the highways and to sledders for various reasons. This bullsh@t has to stop, and the only way it's going to is if we start hassling the MLAs. For me, I don't give a damn what that stupid law says, if I want to tow my kid behind my sled I'm going to. This province is becoming a police state. They can bug us but violent crime and property thefts are going up. What are they doing about this?

Maybe one of the Mods could start an online petition we could forward to all of the MLA's throughout Alberta regarding laxing up some of the laws. A lot of these laws are county enforced so changes would have to be implimented on a broad scale, but could be done.
