What's the dumbest thing you have ever forgot going sledding.
Today for the second ( yes time #2 ) I got to the staging area where we were riding and realized I forgot my sled key at home.
First time we were close enough I ran back home and got it, today a good buddy had a spare sled on the truck, Thanks again, moyiesledhead.
I owe you :beer::beer::beer::beer:

Forgot my helmet a few times.

Rode without it and just a balaclava

Looked like a raccoon after from the sun all day.

I honestly could not ride without my helmet. If I forgot it on a BC trip, it would definitely cost me a few hundred $'s. On the plus side, I'd have two helmets I could forget on future trips.

Forgot to zip up my backpack and strung its contents down the trail at 51 years ago. Buddy picked up my stuff and sold it back to me down at the Regent later that night. Lol!

I haven't left my backpack open, but I have left my tunnel bag open more than once. I did it coming down from Crowfoot once and my buddies picked up a lot of my garbage and also picked up my $100 Kershaw multi-tool.

Forgot my jacket once. Had to wear the skin tight liner, looked rather homosexual.

Second trip to revy and left liner from helmet on the dryer back home. Wife told me to wear a couple of toques under the shell. Had to buy a second helmet. Wasn't sure what I would find in revy, thank god rough country had a stock of Klim.

After filling up my sled, I forgot to put the cap back on. I was very lucky it was still sitting on the running board when I got it home.

Thank god we live in Fernie, and we do 95% of our riding close to home. Even if we do forget something we can just run home and get it.... I have forgot my key a few times and just disconnect the wiring. We ride often enough that we have a good system for getting ready, so we don't often forget much.
