Saying hi from Whitehorse. Here since yesterday hearing back In a few hrs. Had to check over a house fire for asbestos. To bad I could find a rental car, could go for a rip, check the place out. Had all morning, the plane doesn’t go till 3.

they let you out of the province? a rental would get you out to see the north maybe next time, lots of history up there.

yep, I ended up sitting at the airport since 11:30 not getting on the plane till 3:00 departure at 3:30., With the vehicle I may have traveled a bit maybe went on a steam boat tour.

I walked around town all evening yesterday and in the morning put on about 10 k just running. Around.

Stuck on the runway for over an hour now. Issues with plane. there changing some parts and hopefully we’re on our way still have work to do in Edmonton tonight.

Last time I was in Whitehorse there was a Hertz in town...airport.
Had a three week stay. Probably nicer in summer than my winter work trip.

Last time I was in Whitehorse there was a Hertz in town...airport.
Had a three week stay. Probably nicer in summer than my winter work trip.

I was there about 13 years ago in September. It's beautiful up there. I'd love to go back and actually do some tourist stuff instead of a 24 hour turnaround for work

Just got back home, was on the runway for 2 hrs while they repaired the 737. They changed a part and it still had the problem so they changed the other part associated with it and all fixed. They gave everyone on board a free beverage of our choice. Well better than this part breaking in the air and having to stop somewhere or worse.

Just the 2 extra hours sucks.

Snowchuck, no hertz anymore just budget, driving force, kk truck and wrentawreck/Subaru. There booked solid and at least a week and a half in advance at this time. Many tourist in town.
Next time I’ll have more notice and check things out.
