My advice is get a good financial advisor long before you retire and set a plan and make sure that your ch!t is in order
Sorry to hear about all your CRAP. Best thing I ever did was to retire early. We have had a financial advisor for many many years. But last year the guy decided to move on to a different firm. Since we hate change we took along time to decide to either move to a different firm or stay where we are but a different advisor group. We stayed where we were and it certainly worked out for us. The new group has a totally different approach which was a learning curve for us. We get out monthly reports within the first week of each month . I feel after you leave work for the last time it takes time to change into retirement mode. But it certainly is worth it. get your CPP as soon as you can because you paid into it all your working life and the government would love for them not to pay you.Thanks Mike.
