Gotta love Stratus Research. They send me surveys on farming practices all the time and pay you for each survey you complete. Did a survey this morning on insecticide and fungicide use on the farm. 10 minutes to complete and $40 cheque coming my way. Great for some mad money around the house.

I’d try and turn that into more money. That $40 isn’t make or break you, so I'd put it into Lotto tickets or a Casino.

That might be a good idea if I was basically a lucky person. I have never won anything in lotteries other than the odd get your money back. I don’t do casinos. Have a couple families in the community whose lives have been ruined from gambling addictions. I feel that most people lose more than they make. The casinos are not programmed to lose money. Things are always in their favour. I do however like playing Texas Hold Em with family and friends for small wagers.
