Well it is morning time and I am the first one here. Good morning to all you soon to be frantic posters.

Trap line report....

Out of 5 traps last night, there was only one left untouched.

4 traps sprung and one dead rat laying near by one of the traps. It was an adult rat with a broken jaw that somehow pulled away to die 4’ away from the trap. It was still warm when I put it into the plastic bag.

Now I have to think about the approach for tonight.

Starting to plan the replacement of the lumber on our raised beds.

I was told about Tanna (brown treated pine without Arsenic) and they call it ACQ. It may come in green but I prefer the brown.
2x10’s for the sides and a flat 2x6 for edging on the top edge of the 2x10. Use that to sit upon when weeding or thinning.

We are definitely in a different world these days. Back in the 70’s/80’s our kids would be outside riding their bikes and trying to stay out of trouble.
