Isn’t this the second one in the last month or so?
You seem to have trouble with these newer models. Maybe time for an older percolator type.

It’s a 5 cup perolater type Doug. One button to turn it on. Washed everything out and cleaned it up and it is working now. Maybe wife put filter assy in wrong last night when she got it ready for morning
