You use 2 x 6 volts Doug? Mine are both 12 volts.No where on the battery does it show that it is 6 volt. So I got out the tester and sure enough, they are 12 volt batteries.
Lots of people use dual 6's for longevity. However my fear has always been if you drop a battery you have nothing. My trailer has 12 volt stabilization jacks, 12 volt slide motor, 12 volt tongue jack. If for some reason you lose a 6v battery and don't have a generator with you you may be stuck.You use 2 x 6 volts Doug? Mine are both 12 volts.
