So it seems we need a new hibon 820 vac pump for 1 of our trucks. We replaced 1 in 2018 and it was $ 7000 exchange. 6 years later they want 15 to 16 k! :yikes:
Something doesn't compute.

Local curling club looked into a new plant last year as this one is getting old and creating a few issues. They were quoted $150G . This year it went down and they have to replace it. New quote is $330G! Unbelievable.

Keeping old parts. May be able to recoup some loss and be easier on wallet. Head over asap

Just got a call my truck is done. Delete went well. Told me to expect 200-300 more kilometres on a tank of fuel.
few things I like with my truck post delete, the Engine Brake works WAY better, the fuel mileage is better, and the throttle response is much more crisp, I also had some transmission pressures adjusted so it shifts nicer.

That’s good to know Tyler. I am looking forward to better fuel economy most. This truck I believe has a 90 liter tank is all so limited to distance between fuel stops.

97L
And I don’t know why Ford does that? My old 05 F350 had a 97L tank too

Come to think of it......... I think my Chev dually only has a 97L tank

With diesel at$1.72/L I'm happy for a smaller tank
