I certainly don't miss those long frustrating days at Finning. The only pressure I had today was how I could catch more fish that my buddies.Reheated some beefaroni from the deep freeze for supper. Long frustrating work day. No motivation to do much this evening.
The lady who is my direct leader has been in her seat for 18 months, comes from the RI (mining) world and doesn't understand that we cannot treat every single customer the same as a mining customer. That regular construction industry customers want to be treated differently and have entirely different expectations. Nor has she taken the time to sit with anyone on my team or me to see how we do what we do or what we send to our customers.I certainly don't miss those long frustrating days at Finning. That is not a surprise at all. When I was up in Fort mac they wanted the mine business and basically crapped on the rest of the customers. In Sparwood it was all about the coal mines. The little guys felt it and lots left. Sometimes the little guys turn out to be big guys and remember the crap that got.The lady who is my direct leader has been in her seat for 18 months, comes from the RI (mining) world and doesn't understand that we cannot treat every single customer the same as a mining customer. Now she's trying to make giant changes without proper stakeholder consultations...... It's a ch!t show
