Going to be maintenance man?Got a call from the extended care facility here, the one I applied at. Their rooftop heaters froze up and they asked me to go to a hardware store and buy some heaters, which I did. By the time I got over there they had the back up heaters running, but still took the ones I got for them. And queen bee said absolutely yes I’m still number one for the position. So I guess there’s no point of doing any more online courses.

It doesn’t take much, does it.yesterday was interesting, my compressor station decided to ESD, I was locked out and couldn't reset it. I had lost all instrument air and fuel gas pressure values to the PLC. Of course it was like -35 out. It took 3 E/I hands 5 hrs to find the issue. They replaced the PLC card, no change, swapped the Backplane, no change. A little 20ga ground wire had failed on that PLC card. Then the battle to get back up and running, valves wouldn't work, engines wouldn't start. When I left I had one unit up and the process plant was starting to do their thing and sale gas. A day of hell. Got me thinking of how fragile infrastructure is now. One bad wire took us to our knees.....crazy
