we had a mouse in the house on Sunday, caught it within 15 minutes of finding it with peanut butter on one of those sticky traps.........
Those things are really not humane...... took it outside, put it out of its misery and threw it in the dumpster, trap line still setup and no more victims.

IMHO, those sticky traps are a waste of money. The old fashioned Victor wooden ones with the metal bait holder are the way to go.
The bigger Victor rat traps are awesome but don’t get your finger caught! I used to use them for pack rats back in Elkford and I caught my share. Now I am learning how to catch the “Norwegian” rats with them. The guys with the hot tubs are having good success in the confined space underneath but it is a little trickier out in the open elements.
The bait trick using bacon and peanut butter sure worked good last night.

it's what I had in the garage at the time..... I should get a few of them "old school" Victor wooden ones in the cupboards though!
