The truck is a used 2017. It had all the other bells and whistles that I wanted and that was not a deal breaker.

That makes sense, for you. I would not have done that, but that is me.
When I bought my GM 2500 it had to have 3:73's and no 4:10's lol. I knew my 08 dually came with 4:10's and I'm ok with that with the 6spd tranny
