I bought a 2010 Summit 800 at the end of season last year and am getting ready to put some accessories on it for this season. We ride mostly in Sk. with at couple of trips to the mountains each year. What would be your top 5 pics for accessories to put on the sled?

1. A Can
2. Vent Kit
3. Electric Start (if not already equipped)
4. Handle Bar Riser
5. Lefty Throttle

my top 5 for the XP....

1. lightweight muffler
2. clutch kit and proper gearing (eliminates the need to cut holes in your sled for vents)
3. spare fuel caddy
4. handlebar bag/dash bag (XP has ZERO storage)
5. TRA quick clickers

if you have the bucks and want the improved deep snow performance, get a 2.5" non ported camo extreme track, and if you do a lot of deep powder riding, an auxillary cold air intake is beneficial. secondary clutch tower brace for peace of mind.....

I am looking for a muffler but unsure which one to go with, ordering clutch kit from DJ's and have a fuel caddy. I had a tunnel bag on my '04 Gade and was thinking of doing the same on this one.

My top 5 would be: (i have an 08 154 and a 10 163.
1. Can instead of the stock suitcase
2. Cover
3. Gas can and harness
4. The Quick Clickers if you are finiky with clutches
5. Venting is cheaper than a new clutch.
6. Muff-Pot

IMHO no need for the bar riser, as stock is 8", the lefty throttle is also a no brainer (learn to ride without it! sorry Throttle Queen).

If you have two hands forget the lefty throttle....

If I was running a 2010 -

1. clutch kit - but you are ordering that
2. fuel caddy - but you got it
3. new lighter can - I would go with a Dynoport trail can, it is tigther than the open style race cans which helps when riding mountains, but still lightweight and still sounds good.
4. Quick Clickers
5. Venting for your new clutching
and I will add #6 because you already have a few items
6. WRP mountain boards - just because they are bling!

Obvious items should be a spare belt, some storage like a riser bag for carrying a camera and everything else that teeroy and fernie mentioned.

1- clutch kit for sure , get DJ to build U one. Tell him your specs at home and in the mountains.
2 -spend the $ on a handel bar bag instead of Quick Clickers...if u only go a couple times a year no real need for them but they are cheap enough.
3- tunnel bag
4- fuel caddy
5- can,ceramic coat your stock pipe



oh ya and a muff pot!

If your ridin in the mountains and don't ride anywhere that a lefty throttle would be useful, maybe you aren't the one who should be answering this question lol

Lefty throttles and training wheels are in the same catagory... but if you need them ,you need them.:d

X 2, I'm pretty sure Brad Story, Dan Davidoff, and those folks don't use left hand throttle kits... But like the Arborist says, "if you need them, you need them.
