I bought this Festool Track saw the other day, with parallel bars.
I'm extremely happy with it, my portable Bosch table saw will be for sale I think. This thing is so portable, takes up no room. You can rip plywood consistently and easily. Way easier and safer than a table saw... Well most table saws anyway.

Those festool track saws are sure handy. Def doesn't replace a table saw though. One of my personal favorites is my fien. Always amazes when it can come In handy. Holds up well to working every day to!

I found the electric chain saw which is cheap as heck to be way under used for those tough jobs.

Nice! How deep will it cut?

1 15/16 when on the track 2 1/8 otherwise. They have another bigger saw too it will cut 2 3/4 on the track.

does not have to be new! I have a drawer full of hammers some new, some old. 95% of the time i grab my first snap on hammer I bought 16 years ago! Now that i think about it . Its probably my fav hand tool!..... insert joke here !

Favorite hand tool is 1/2" electric impact. Use for plastics on quad to wheel nuts on quad....no hoses.

I've kinda been wondering about those electric impacts. Are they good for just about everything or do you still have to pull out the air hose all the time? ...on shhtuff like hub, sheave, and clutch nuts?

I have a Makita 1/2 and 3/8 cordless 18v
The 1/2 I don't use any more now that I have a compressor. The 3/8 I use allot. Small and light. The 1/2 is cumbersome I find. I keep it in the holiday trailer now. 1/2 for plastic? That's one mean quad!!

Mac sure had come a long ways. I have lots of mac stuff. Love the wrenches , and ratchets

I have a 1/2" dewalt 20v and it works great for everything up to about 120 ft/lbs. Over that I use air. I love the lithium batteries though, they don't really get weak they just die. The old ones always get weak after the first few bolts. They charge damn quick too.

It does have variable speed trigger eh....you don't have to rat-tat-tat-tat-tat every bolt. Haha. Torx socket on the impact and a 10mm wrench in the other hand and the fenders/plastic is on the ground in minutes....
I can't afford Mac/Snapon/Makita....Cambodian Tire lithium one is the one I use now. Ran the old NiCd Crappy tire one for years until the batteries finally gave up the ghost.

A fien is an oscillating saw. I install hardwood floors so I use it to cut door jams. Or to cut out hardwood boards. Does a wicked job. And you can Get metal blades or sanding pads. Dremel makes one to but doesnt stand a chance agaisnt the german made fien.
