It was and it had serious consequences on our men and women.
I do know of one on this forum that spent a lot of time on the front playing the intimidation game.

I joined the reserves while in high school in 89 and it was definitely a different time. I am fortunate in that I never had to deal with anything like that. I was in only for a short time.
