Just got me a Tom Tom gps from Crappy tire for 80.00 bucks;) im guessing its a bit outdated and is kinda small but it gets the job done.
anyways has anyone used theres on the lake, like for marking spots and seeing where you have gone? or do u need to use a gps like a garmin hand held one or something?

For marking spots, waypoints and recording tracks etc. that GPS will work just fine. If you want to use it like a chartplotter you'll need to download the right software to it and I don't think it's waterproof though so keep it under cover. The best thing for lake use is a Fishfinder/GPS combo but they can get pretty pricey.
