Best one this summer hot day and this lady is sting in the boat on the ramp in the water... I said can you move your boat. I can't buy you can back around me. Well v drives don't back up on the best of days. So her husband comes and he has to find some one to show him how to start it and drive it too...

V drives will only go one way in reverse lol and it's different every time. So hard to go in reverse with them

We had a good on at the launch on cold lake pp. Buddy backs his boat in good enough while we wait then hands the bow line to dearest while he goes and parks. The boat drifts sideways blocking the whole launch! the lost look on her face for the 20 minutes waiting for him was heartbreaking. It gets better, we were a few units back in line, so when they finally got out on the lake you could see the tension in the boat. Buddy just wants to get away and pins it.....forgets the leg is still up and damn near puts them both in the drink! Boats are toys but you have to have your mind in the game at all times to fully enjoy them.

I'm glad I only have to launch and pull out once each year...you guys are harsh....

It is kinda cool though when a guy is struggling to load his 15' boat onto a trailer and I can come in with a 24' cruiser, spin it around 10' out of the slip and back it in like parallel parking a car (when there is light to no wind), it's all about practice. I've played around on the dock many weeknights when there is no one else around so I don't look like an idiot when there is. People who launch each time should take some time to practice, but that would kill the entertainment factor....


plio and I have had some "Dealings" with other boaters who have no respect for anyone else both on the launch and in the dock slips... One time I raised my leg and pinned it to swamp/shut up some loud mouth douche on the dock...man was he pizzed...

i remeber that.... a guy with a larson did that the other weekend, he was coming into a slip and a guy cut in front of hiim and took it, with out a word he calmly turned his boat around 180, raised the outdrive and swamped this guy bad....bwa hahahaha good times.
