Lol...... I've bitched about this in here before I have learned to plan to not pull out until the bs dies down. Sit back and watch the festivities..... I love the "put the boat back in and fix it because its 1/2" off center, and then float it to much and have to do this 5 or 6 times" or the " I'll just pull by boat over to my trailer with the bow line right in front of the other boat trying to Load guy"

But what really chaps my ass is the "look at me I can show off my fancy new boat and I pull a tube/skier/wake boarder through the slow area in the bay at 35mph because I'm the only guy who can wake board on this lake and need to show everyone how it's done buy cruising right by the dock and launch kicking up 4' wake" guy

You saw that azzhole in the black moomba too on sunday eh. What a putz!!

how about launching your boat on a log boom?? My brother in law is timber manager for Federated Co-Op in Canoe and almost every year he has to go to court because some guy decided to launch their boat onto the log booms being towed on the Shuswap. One guy hit it so hard with his new mastercraft ended up 65 ft into the boom totaling the whole boat. Apparently it only had 18 hr on it.

I have to say I agree. But when you are pulling around a Mastercraft X45 like myself you need to make sure it's not a 1/2" off because. Its worth spending the time and not spending $145 000 on another boat because you screwed your hull. But because we dont want to piss people off, we just bought a slip at the marina and load it at that launch. $1100 dollars a year sure seems worth it rather then dealing with all the drunks.

145k for a dingy and they couldn't engineer a trailer that won't destroy your boat if your a 1/2" off!?!?

Now thats funny as hell...

Saw almost the same at Wizard 2 years ago
Guy loads a seadoo into the back of the pick up - Alls Okay
Said hit it and the drive drives up the steep loading ramp - still okay
Just as they clear the shore and are on gravel the seadoo slides backwards out of the truck
Stands on its tail and the rider falls backwards off the seadoo onto the gravel
As the truck keeps going the seadoo just fell forwards onto the gravel
The rider was lucky - if the seadoo had have over backwards it would have crushed him

So it took a tow rope on the front and a boat to puil it over the gravel back into the water
The rider then started it up and drove it back into the pick up box
-- this time they tie the seadoo into the box before driving out of the water...

Now that drew a hell of a crowd as everyone ran over to see if the ride was okay -
Probably was but shame will make you get up and get going even if it hurts like hell

I have the same boat and can have it loaded in under a minute...You CANNOT screw or even mark your hull if it isn't perfectly centered, trust me there is lots of room for error with this boat and trailer.

Ive watched many guys truth boats like yours loaded an out in no time. But try convincing that "guy" that it's not gunna screw his boat. Had a guy tell me at the dock one day after looking at my boat and seeing me load that I wouldn't understand how hard it is with his. I said " yea I can see the issue you must have with Phuckin guides posts and bunks built specifically for your boat"

It should be made mandatory that if you intend to pull a trailer ( recreational or otherwise) you should have to demonstrate you are competent to do so. I had to as part of getting my Class 1..... it should be an add on for a class 5 as well!
i couldent agree more. the funny/sad fact is most people that jackknife thier trailers do it over, and over and over again, usually in the same direction. if it did'nt work the first 3 times why would you do the exact same thing 3 more times? you have to learn from your mistakes. any idiot can buy a boat but nobody can buy common sence. my fave is the d-bag that pulls onto the pad THEN starts unstrapping, un hooking, taking tarps off, transfering sh!t out of the suv into the boat. takes me 30 secs MAX to dump and scoop my boat. my other fave is when some a-hole uses the middle of a double launch. some people are just BEGGING to be b!tchslaped

Wab finally put in concrete pin curbs to separate the launch lanes and some people still manage to jackknife it as soon as they get past the curbs and get their trailers across both launches......when I bought my first boat I took the gf down on a weeknight and had her circle and pull in over and now I take great pride in the fact my gf can back in better than 95% of the people launching and loading. Even saw her lose her patience one and squeeze my trailer between 2 other douches taking for ever to load one guy tried giving her chit until the next guy in line got out of his truck and told him to stfu and get his chit out I the water. We were loaded and gone before either of the other trucks had their winches connected

im sure the drunks also complain about guy's who cant pick thier boat out in a timely fashion. if 1/2 off the trailer is a realistic possibility for you you might want to practice up on your skills, especially if your boat is worth that kind of loot. just sayin....

Yep,seen the hobbit and Kuddles in action a few times, and sober or drunk they make most others look pretty silly.

"1/2 off the trailer"? or "1/2" off"? I think there's a big difference.
