What ya building? Metal supermarkets could probably order it in, Ti is not a widely stocked metal most places.

Some crap for the xm... As nice of a handling sled they are, they are tanks to get unstuck!

goal is to ditch 30lbs

Tricky to weld. Hollow stuff has to be back-purged too.

+1, not easy to weld. It has to be welded in oxygen-free camera. Oxygen ruins titanium when its being welded.
By the way I've heard 90% of world titanium production - in Russia. And prices went 300% compare to 2 years ago.
Good luck with that, just remember that there is one thing to remember - pure titanium rarely used, titanium allow is way to go.

Call Chad at CR. I'm pretty sure they are making Ti arms etc and would maybe help you. As mentioned, very tricky to weld, by the time its all said and done, you might be better off to contract someone to make the parts for you.
