Anyone in the tire business know of good promotions coming up? I am going to be looking for 265/75/16 duratracs or wranger ATS 10 ply. I think i paid $1080 (may have been $1180) for duratracs installed and balanced at fountain tire in lloydminster.

Crappy Tire has the Duratracs on sale for 25% off every once and a while. I got the same tire size (265/75/16) for a little over $900 including lifetime road hazard warranty and taxes.

Crap tire doesnt carry duratrac's they carry another model but its not the dura's, I was told by tire guy that dura's had a pretty big price spike, i think i paid $225 a tire last year and their $300 now. And stock from factory was backordered for a while.

You have been misinformed. As I said I have purchased Duratracs there last February and they were 25% off at around $180 bucks a tire. As well see the link below and you will see that Canadian tire does carry Duratracs. Currently the 265/75/16s are $256 a tire but if they do go on sale they would be about $190 a tire. My only complaint so far is that they howl a fair bit on the highway.

Duratracs are $263.99 each at 1010tire.com for the 265/75/16s. They're not on sale, but I'd watch the site for a deal. Great place to get tires from.

Just need to find someone to mount and balance them.

I will most likely be putting Kelly Safari TSR's on my truck (275/70/18) along with XD rims. I have be talking to treadline in Calgary. They have been very helpful and priced very competively.
