Just got back from Honolulu and of course tipping and holidays seem to go hand in hand. I believe that for good food and service one should tip, say inbetween 10% to 15%, on holidays I noticed some restaurants were already adding a 18% tip to your bill regardless of the food or service. This really frosts my jewels as tipping should not be expected but rewarded for better than average service and outstanding food. Some restaurants are adding a tip chart so their clients know what to tip and they say gartuity should be from 18% to 20%, what's next 20% to 30%. Well this is my two bits on the subject, any feedback!
