well timmins area has been getting hit with snow for the last week and a bit. almost another 2 feet on the ground. lol.. what a year i tell you. and trails are closed. but that dosent seem to be stoping anyone.

go towards gogama HWY 144, park at about kilometer 49 Mattagami Haven Campground and giver hell awesome trails some of the trails are for the skidoo trails too so they go for quite the ride.

Hope that helped.

Oh ya and maybe try out by Gibson Lake road ( towards Matheson ) you can get from matheson to gogama (about 6 Hour ride )if ya find the right trail.

snowing finnaly. well for a few days now.. but getting some warmer temps but dont think its gonna affect the snow much at all. so anyone out there wanting to come to the canyons this year let me know. ill be going up there ALOT this year.

Keng got your post thanks for the update ! Working on my 07 Summit xrs 800 i bought at end of last year .Can hardly wait to tackle the Canyon.Was through Gravenhurst and Hunstville the weekend they got all that snow was like paradise !! Hope all is well Bring on the snow !!!

yeah lucky bastards.. get the snow i want.. most people there dont even have sled or snowblowers. lol.. well hope we get some snow soon.. need to thaw out my sled.. suspension is frozen solid no idea why.. could be all that water crossing the other day. lol..

Water crossing is for the summer ! My neighbours at the cottage get a real kick out of watching me go to the marina for ice on my sled !! I will tell santa to drop some snow your way.Have a merry christmas and hope to see ya in the canyon. Keep in touch

yeah couldnt help myself needed to take the sled out. lol. noticed the groomer has been out around here lately trying to prep trails.. well keep in touch canyons should be ready soon i hope

Live in Iroquois Falls and just bought a sled......looking to try out that run in the Canyon too.....never been but looks like best place around here

We are planning xmas holidays, well, would it worth to go there?
Well, its depends on mother nature forsure, but still do you guys have snow there during xmas? Or Cochrane would be a better choice?
