time to update my quad, i'm not to picky about brand till it makes me walk. Looking for like a 500 to 700, I like mostly kawis, suzukis, hondas yamahas, but from other peoples experince what is realiable mechanical wise? it would be used fore mostly farm work, mountains, mud and muskeg.

Give Terry at T&T Powersports in Bonnyville a call, he'll set you up with a great deal.

King Quads are my option. I would never go Honda, or Yamaha. Brute is a good choice, kawi is not bad. Agree with Can-am and Arctic cat as well.

Outlander or XP polaris for me. Both good bikes then a king quad or grizzly. I would buy an arctic cat before any kawi. Brute force is the last quad I would buy before the knock offs. All my friends that have them regret buying them cause they are built cheap and always have problems. I hope they got it figured out for 2012 cause when they are running good they do haul ass and sound amazing.

Your friends must beat the p!$$ outta there machines then. Only problems with a well treated brute is belts. They arent known for blowing up. The kaki V-twin is VERY reliable...the rotax on the other hand is good for warranty plus 2 months :d:beer:

Ya I'm glad you have had good luck with your brutes. But we do ride our machines hard and the brutes seem to be the ones that get left behind and picked up the next day. Come out to the st walburg rally on April 30th and see if yours can make it. i havnt had my outlander on it yet and I'm hoping it makes it out alive as the buddies that have had them all work fine since 07. My king quads and grizzly have went on that rally every year with no problems. Just to add I already have put a new motor in my 2011 outlander with 180 miles due to swamping it so she's all snorkelrd ready for the rally. The outlanders and brutes don't like to drink water 9 times out of ten the motors go on either machine so snorkels are the answer. my king quad and grizzly got swammped pretty much every time I rode them and never missed a beat after an oil change.

The last St. Walburg rally I was on we had to tow out a brute. He didn't even make the half way point.

I have had great luck with my 08 Cat 700.
I don't find it to be the fastest or the slowest. Just an all around user friendly machine to ride.
I did test ride a newer on from Terry @ T&T. with power steering, and that was incredible.

The last St. Walburg rally I was at I was getting really bored waiting for the 3 Grizzlies I was with to cool down. Also had another older 660 had to cut out early due to a broken a-arm mount. My Brute and my buddies King Quad were the only machines to make it through without issues, he babies his King constantly, and I ride the crap right out of my poor machine.
I have only swamped it once when I first bought it and have had no problems with it other than rider abuse!!(who knew that constant wheelies would wear out a-arm bushings:headscratch3:)
