One of my favs is the 15 year old Macallan or 18 year old Fidditch. If any of you scotch guys haven't tried the 15 year Macallan yet do it. Yummmmm
the normal 15, or the fine oak 15? Also, Macallan has stopped making these scotches altogether. They no longer put an age on them, and I haven't tried any of the new bottlings yet. Mac 12 is one of my favourites, and when I heard they were stopping making them last year, I ran out and bought as many bottles as I could find. Down to 2 full ones left.

Figured I may as well have a glass since I pulled it down.

Yeah I'm not sure why the go sideways, I thought last week it was because I took the photo sideways and downloaded it so this time I took it normal but it didn't help. Trying to edit it.
Oh my; couple glasses of that and your sideways pic will straighten itself right out.

I'm still super disappointed that Macallan changed there bottling, he 10yr was the best bottle you could buy under 50 bucks and the 15 and 18 were amazing, I still look for them when ever I buy booze

oh and TS13 was meh.... I was happy to see my buddy Dave Schell back in it though.....

I was always told to not drink scotch on ice?
I prefer frozen stones or ball bearings to cool it but ice works in moderation.

with some scotches a little water can change the taste for the better

Yeppers,
I always try a scotch first neat, and will then try it with a couple drops of water to see if it improves it. Water will open up some subtle flavours, and can improve some scotches, but even a single cube dilutes it too much for me.
I do have some cask strength bottles which require some water just to be able to taste anything other than burning.

Yes, I have used the frozen stones but ice dilutes the scotch and changes the flavor to much for me.

Holy crap, I get it! Scotch on the ROCKS! Never knew the origin of that saying. Just assumed it meant ice cubes. :high5:

The Macullum Ruby is a decent scotch. Needs an ice cube to open it up. I like my scotch cold, and I find the stones don't really work.

Im easy to please. Love the glenfiddich 12 year. But definitely on the rocks. Maybe not as hard core of scotch drinker as I thought I was. Like to fill the glass with ice, fill half full of scotch, and then drink when the ice is melted down a bit. My brother just got me a bottle of Auchentoshan. Holy cow is it good. But doesnt sound like its cheap either.

As far as sled films......I think the most current one I have is thunderstruck 5.

You mean Scotch is not supposed to be mixed with Coke? JK

Schooled was very disappointing, When Brett has a bigger role it is more informative. Worst by far, like someone else said "Bowtie" WTF.

Like the new 509 and Slednecks. Anyone pick up the new Action lines?

dont know much about scotch but i was very disapointed in braapp 14 uncharted the music was real crappy so i muted it most of the time and seemed to me like half the movie was advertising for timbersled kits had a couple nice clips of the bikes but mostly boring talking about the kits so i guess i was just rattled that there wasnt as much sledding in it. may have saved myself the $30 if i would have read the back but it didnt say half the movie was gonna be pushing me into a snow bike
